There are a lot of ways to raise money. Most of them hand you a check and a set of expectations, and not much else. What I offer is capital with a person behind it — patient, aligned, and useful long after the wire clears.
I make minority investments in operating businesses I believe in, with a long horizon and no pressure to exit. I’m not after control or a quick return. I’m after companies where leadership, culture, and continuity decide the outcome — the kind of business where time and judgment are the real advantages.
And the money rarely comes alone. It usually comes with me — a sounding board, a board seat, a hand when something breaks. Capital is the start of the relationship, not the whole of it.
